1. Where is Blue Mussel Aesthetics Medical Spa located?
Our building is located 2 doors down from the downtown firestation, towards the water, next to the Capitol Service Gas station. It is a brown, shingled building. Address is 800 Glacier Highway, Suite 103. We have our own entrance on the east side of the building. Our name is on the door. We are 5 minutes from downtown, 15 minutes from the airport.
2. How do I make an appointment at your Medical Spa?

3. What hours is your medical spa open?
We do not have posted business hours, however we typically work 7 days a week, hours ranging from 9am -7 pm
4. Dose Blue Mussel Aesthetics Medical Spa take medical insurance?
We do not take insurance, however, payment can be made by credit card, check or cash. Payment in full is expected @ time of service.
5. Is there a cost for a medical spa consultation?
Yes, there is $50 fee for a skin consultation and a $100 fee for a coolsculpting consultation, however this fee can be waived the day of consultation if services are provided.
6.What type of medical spa credentials do you have?
Both Kathy Kartchner and Rebecca Young are Advanced Nurse Practitioners with over 20 years in the medical field.
7.Do I need to do anything special prior to laser hair removal?
We recommend shaving the area to be lasered 24 hr prior to treatment. No plucking or waxing 3 weeks prior to treatment.
8.What type of laser does Blue Mussel Aesthetics use?
We have two lasers a Cynosure Elite plus and a Cutera XEO laser. Between the two lasers we can offer many services including an IPL photofacial.
9. Can I exercise prior to treatments?
You can exercise prior to treatments, we will request avoiding exercises after several treatments, such as injectables and some laser therapies.

11. RETURN POLICY – 30 Day Return Policy
Returns on Services must be initiated within 30 days of purchase. Blue Mussel Aesthetics may issue a refund for pre-paid and un-rendered services only. It takes 7-14 business days after request to process a refund. Blue Mussel Aesthetics will charge a return fee of 3% of the original purchase amount and for all types of payment.
No refunds on partially used services packages will be given. A one-time exchange of the unused portion of the prepaid service toward other service is allowed.
No Refunds on Products. Unopened products may be exchanged for alternative products within 30 days of purchase. “Spa credit” may be issues on a case by case basis.
