How it works:
Ultherapy targets the deeper layers of skin and tissue that are typically in the face, neck, and
chest without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. The ultrasound energy causes

may feel brief heat or tingling as the ultrasound energy is delivered to precise depths of your
skin. This sensation is a sign that collagen-building is being activated. The level of discomfort
varies between individuals and treatment areas.
For comfort, patients are encouraged to take 600mg of Ibuprofen 15 minutes before the
appointment. We will commonly use topical numbing to treat the area. Nitronox (laughing gas) is
available on request.
